After a sizzling summer celebrating ten years on the White Isle, the Wax Da Jam team is set to finish their anniversary season in style with a charity fundraiser at the Las Dalias Hippy Market in San Carlos. Hosted by Nightmares on Wax frontman and WDJ founder George Evelyn, under the motto “Set For Love” over 20 artists are billed to perform on Thursday, August 29th between 7pm and 4am, in aid of the Last Night A DJ Saved My Life foundation, which helps to build water wells in Asia and Africa.

Opening early, the atmospheric Las Dalias Garden will play host to the early DJ sets as well as live performances from Ben Westbeech at sunset, saxophonist Lovely Laura, and island vocalist Blondewearingblack. Nightmares On Wax and jazz drummer Wolfgang Haffner will take the last slot through to midnight, when the party moves inside. In Da Club, Ibiza’s finest residents will come together from midnight onwards with a very special ‘b2b2b’ taking place for the final two hours of the night. A third area of Las Dalias will showcase Ibiza’s next generation of artists including Noisy Neighbours and Real Gang Ibiza. As always, Street Food trucks will offer tasty treats from around the world throughout the evening to give you energy for the dancefloor action.

Admission is 10 Euros on the door, with 100% of all ticket sales going to Last Night A DJ Saved My Life. All artists performing have waived their fees to make this possible and support this great cause. LNADJ founder Johnny Lee says, “George has been an ambassador since the beginning of LNADJ back in 2010 and is our most active member. Over the last 9 years he has included a fundraising element wherever he can and gone on to inspire many others in the industry to also support LNADJ, which now adds up to over £100k collectively. His ‘Wax Da Jam’ events in Ibiza have already funded five freshwater wells in Africa and India through our ‘Have a Drink on Us’ campaign. This has given 5000 people access to clean water daily and has greatly benefited community life. We’re delighted he’s chosen to make his end of season Wax Da Jam event at Las Dalias into a 100% charity fundraiser so that we can build more fresh water wells where they are needed the most.”
