Friday night in HEART Ibiza this summer has seen Spanish pioneer Wally Lopez return to an island residency, inviting a series of influential DJ/ producers from around the world to join him for Heart Beat. The list of guests this summer reads like a who’s who of the early house scene, all of which remain as relevant today, including Marshall Jeffereson, Gene Farris, Quivver, Lou Lou Players, Timid Boy, Affkt and Mattia Pompeo to name only a few. Friday September 29 sees the penultimate edition of Heart Beat and Wally welcomes Glasgow Underground label boss Kevin McKay to the booth.

Frequent Ibiza visitors of the last ten years will be more than aware of Wally Lopez, the Spanish DJ/ producer has been at the centre of some of the biggest island parties in that time. He is one of the most prolific global house music producers, capturing the attention of clubbers everywhere with his unique house vibe that has seen him travel the world pretty much constantly on the last decade and a half. In Ibiza, he has made several guest appearances in recent years, but Ibiza 2017 saw him undertake on another island residency, turning the Friday night in HEART Ibiza into a Bastian of solid house grooves, which has proved hugely popular.

The season is well and truly in its final stages, with many of the Ibiza parties already closed! There are still two opportunities to enjoy Wall Lopez’s Heart Beat in HEART Ibiza, the first of which is September 29 when the influential guest theme continues with Kevin McKay. A respected artist in his own right, Kevin is the driving force behind respected label Glasgow Underground, responsible for some of the tunes dominating the boxes of the world’s most influential cutting-edge artists. Having occupied several significant residencies in his home town Glasgow, as well as regularly playing out across the globe, Kevin McKay has made a significant contribution in the evolution of the house sound. With fellwo Spanish artist Piem, AKA Alvaro Palau, adding his considerable talent on the night, it’s another exciting line-up and promises to offer a special penultimate Heart Beat.
