Solomun + 1 Announces Line-Up For 5th Season At Pacha Ibiza

It has become one of the hottest nights on the White Isle over the last four years, drawing hordes of fans to the 2016 closing party despite a huge thunderstorm rocking the island. Today Solomun +1 is announcing its full season line-up for the summer of 2017, celebrating five years at the iconic Pacha Ibiza. Kicking off proceedings on May 28th and running all the way through until October 15th, it looks like the turntable hero and his pals are set for another epic season, with the likes of Sven Väth, Âme and Michael Mayer returning as celebrated Solomun + 1 favourites.

The concept, which sees the the Diynamic label boss play at the home of the twin cherries with a plus one of his choosing, has become one of the island’s most popular and credible parties, attracting music lovers from all corners of the globe as Solomun’s star continues to rise globally. This year, he will be joined by a roster of master mixers, starting in style on May 28th with deep house fiend Mano Le Tough, who will be followed by the likes of Damian Lazarus, DJ Hell, John Talabot, Dubfire, DJ Tennis and Dixon all taking their turn behind the decks throughout May, June and July.

Towards the end of the season, in September and October island-favourites such as Acid Pauli, Butch, Superpitcher, Mind Against, Matthew Dear and Konstantin Sibold will all come and play with Solomun and keep the energy sky high until the last hurrah on October 15th. Cocoon label boss Sven Väth returns on September 10th for the traditional swap that will see him and Solomun play each other’s parties. Apart from the amazing opportunity to see Solomun play with his closest musical friends, often featuring impromptu back to back sets, another standout feature of the concept is how close fans can get to their dance music heroes, with the DJ booth being moved from its usual elevated position into the crowd, bringing the master mixers on the same level as their loyal fans.

It’s going to be a special year to experience this buzzing party, as Solomun will be working on putting out remixes for Pantha du Prince and DJ Hell as well as a special remix of the classic “Age of Love” for the 25 Years of Renaissance compilation. Even more excitingly, with a new EP on Diynamic Music coming out that will feature some new and original tracks, Solomun +1 could be the place to hear some hot new beats from the artist. And with Pacha Ibiza celebrating an incredible 50 years on the White Isle, we are sure there will be plenty of surprises throughout the summer as the iconic venue once again proves just how it has maintained its top spot in the clubbing world for half a century!
