The iBi Foundation boat is born in Ibiza; iBi Foundation founders, Dutch duo Ed and Joke, both live on the island and the boat itself was designed by La Bella Verde, experts in the manufacture of solar catamarans. The iBi Foundation project launched last year and has collected tonnes of plastic found in the waters surrounding the island since. Plastic is a huge threat to all marine life and a serious environmental problem, the iBi Foundation uses its unique boat to rid the ocean of as much plastic and other debris that it can collect while it is sailing.
