Nikki Beach Ibiza Springs Into Action With New Look & Epic Entertainment

With a bevvy of beauties showing off their best moves while rounding in on a handsome saxophonist in the middle of the crowd who was free-styling to the uplifting beats of resident DJ Ismael Garcia, the atmosphere at Nikki Beach Ibiza’s Seasonal Opening was nothing short of electric – even despite the somewhat temperamental April weather.

With the world-famous beach club brand celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2019, the glamorous S’Argamassa venue had been given a fresh new look for the impending season and – very important when you enjoy a prime position overlooking the sea – added weather protection surrounding the dining and dancing space on the terrace so customers can enjoy the signature Nikki Beach Ibiza hospitality and entertainment come rain, wind or shine!

Greeted by a colourful floral statement wall that announced the motto for the new season, ‘Forever Young’, we were dazzled all over by the dazzling white interiors and the beaming smiles that welcomed us at reception. Updated with some natural and boho chic decor touches, a tipi tent constructed from salt-water bleached driftwood provided an instant social media moment, while the tables were laden with gorgeous spring flower bouquets and buckets of chilled Nikki Beach anniversary ‘collector edition’ rose wine.

Guests toasted the occasion with expertly mixed cocktails such as the Watermelon Popsicle Coupe that is served with a purple popsicle resting on the fruity vodka-based concoction, while platters of freshly prepared sushi floated past. Those who have tried Nikki Beach Ibiza’s mouth-watering cuisine before will be excited to hear that the menu has been infused with some new additions for the summer, offering a wide range of Mediterranean treats and international favourites.

Of course, the Nikki Beach entertainment the brand’s global fanbase has come to know and love couldn’t be missing, with resident DJ Ismael and Jas P from Let There Be House taking it in turns to spoil guests with the finest sun-drenched deep house beats and iconic anthems. Adding that little bit of extra sparkle to the uplifting soundtrack was a host of talented live musicians, who would step out onto the poolside terrace to jam along to the tunes.

The electric violin sent shivers down our spine while infectious drum rhythms made our toes tap – and by the time saxophonist Kique Albelda brought his suave sound to the celebrations, most of the venue was up on their feet and letting lose like it was a sizzling August afternoon. Like a fine wine, the Nikki Beach brand is only growing more refined as it enters its third decade while remaining young at heart!
