The Monday night slot continues with The Redlight and Shelter which showcases US garage and UK house. Sankeys welcomes the London based hip-hop brand Applebum on Tuesday nights. Dance 88/89 takes up the Wednesday night slot. When Ibiza veterans talk of the halcyon days of the island scene, they are referring to the period between 88 and 89 when the acid house and Balearic phenomenon broke out of the island and spread across the rest of the world. Unusual Suspects have been taking up residency in Sankeys Ibiza throughout the winter, delivering some huge names such as Nicole Moudaber and Stacey Pullen. These guys really have delivered some super cool eclectic parties over the last few months. Every Thursday this party will create and deliver a distinctive sound that drives groovy, bouncy, basslines in the form of sexy house and techno. On Friday nights Clockwork Orange returns to bring some of that unique atmosphere back to the island like it was one of the seminal Ibiza parties of the nineties.
