Ibiza 2019 sees Formentera Explorer collaborate with EMERGE, a 17 mere long luxury catamaran that can comfortably accommodate up to 60 people, offering a selection of fantastic experiences that unlock the beautiful Balearic island of Formentera. For any traveller visiting Ibiza who has a hint of adventure in their soul, a trip to Formentera is a must and, while there are several options on how to do that, there are few as stylish and relaxing as Formentera Explorer.

Choosing the right boat is a crucial part of the Formentera experience and in Formentera Explorer, you have a team with years of experience in hosting boat parties and boat excursions in and around Ibiza and Formentera. The EMERGE catamaran is one of the most stable vessels on the Mediterranean, meaning your trip across to our neighbouring island will be smooth and comfortable. It boasts four VIP beds in the bow of the ship, for those that want to upgrade their experience but every seat is comfy, meaning there’s no such thing as a bumpy ride.

Once you have chosen Formentera Explorer, you have three options on what kind of trip you prefer – Catamaran Excursion, Catamaran Excursion Plus and VIP + Pack Private Bed. Each choice delivers you to the idyllic island, offers a delicious authentic paella and drinks along the way as well as a smooth and relaxing journey. The Catamaran Plus also include four free premium drinks and as many bottles of water, juices and soft drinks as you like. The VIP experience delivers a personalised service, spectacular views from your bed and 700 euros worth of drinks to consume from the menu. Each trip takes you to and bring as you back from Formentera, so it is the ideal way to combine a tranquil sailing with an adventure on Formentera.

The trip leaves from the pier in Marina Botafoch and takes six hours, crossing waters declared a World Heritage Site and stopping in enclaves such as S’Espalmador and Ses Illetes. While the journey can be a chilled out, relaxed affair, there’s also the option to enjoy some water activities along the way, with snorkel and paddle surfing equipment available on board. Dive into the turquoise water of Ses Illetes and get close to its marine fauna. There’s also an on-board biologist who can give you all the information on the wonderful variety of fish plants and marine fauna to be found during the crossing. It’s the perfect day out for all the family and an unmissable opportunity to visit Formentera in style.
