elrow Takes Over Ushuaïa Ibiza In Spectacular Fashion

elrow has established itself as the ultimate party brand. Packing-out superclubs, festival arenas and more, the Barcelona-born confetti-filled concept is, without doubt, one of the most exciting, entertaining and enthusiastic parties on the planet. This year, it’s taking over Ibiza’s biggest open-air venue for four dates across the season. Here’s what happened when elrow came to Ushuaïa Ibiza.

With the sun beaming and smiles the same, elrow had Playa d’en Bossa at a standstill. With thousands turning-out for the first of the season, Ushuaïa had us waiting on a roadblock. This was going to be a big one – and elrow resident Marc Maya was grooving and moving to some funky, yet deep sounds. With his set coming to a close, the classic Greece 2000 took-over the open-air and threw the elrow faithful into a proper Ibiza atmosphere.

Coming from mainland Barcelona, elrow has propelled itself to mega-brand status. The club concept puts fun at the forefront with music just as exciting. The theme for this one was the Enchanted Forest. With giant inflatables, millions of pieces of confetti and characters scattered around everywhere, elrow had us under their spell, with their DJs acting as the main spellcasters.

After a perfect middle-of-the-evening set by Marca Maya, Ibiza favourite and Music On regular Paco Osuna was on closing duties. Keeping the energy typically elrow, Maya brought a touch of grooviness with his highly-regarded techno-house sound. Starting with Eli Brown’s Beatport topping In The Dance, Maya moved-up the BPM in a characteristic fashion that has seen him reach the very top of the Ibiza game. Marco Lys’ Circular sent Ushuaïa stomping as the night grew darker – and when he dropped Ruben Mandolini’s Ass For Me, the confetti was flying and spirits soared just as high.

With three more to go – two in August, one in September – there’s still plenty of elrow action to enjoy. More than just a party, this concept is an experience. Packing-out Amnesia each and every Saturday through the summer, elrow has built a following of millions. Coming together with Ushuaïa – an ultimate open-air venue – the Barcelona super-brand has the perfect canvass to paint a picture full of colour, fun and excitement.
