Cafe Mambo is one of the world’s most famous bars. The waterfront location at the end of the sunset strip has delivered the perfect view of the world famous Ibiza sunset for two decades as well as hosting many of the biggest DJs and artists on the planet. While it has given its name to the Mambo Group, it is by no means a one trick pony. Mambo Group offers a range of Ibiza options out with the famous pre-club destination, to cool sushi concepts, a family run restaurant and a beachfront eatery. Whatever you might fancy while on the island, the Mambo Group is sure to have an option. Sticking with the sunset strip, as well as Cafe Mambo, there are options in the shape of Mint Lounge, Mambo’s next-door neighbour and another great sunset spot, try the pizzas, they are delicious! Further along the strip is Savannah, Mambo’s younger sister, which also has a strong pre-club line up but a slightly more laid back feel, except when there is a party going on in the back room, then it can get very messy. Walk further still and on the corner of the strip you will find Sushi Mambo, the latest incarnation of the group’s sushi concept, which offers a delicious menu adopting Nikkei cuisine, blending traditional Japanese with Peruvian. Away from the strip but staying in San Antonio, Villa Mercedes operates at a completely different pace. The stunning converted villa overlooking the marina offers a delicious lunch and dinner menu as well as some regular live entertainment, making it one of the most popular restaurants in the resort. El Chiringuito Cala Gracionata is another one of the Mambo Group venues, located overlooking its own sandy cove further around the coastline, it makes for a special destination for a meal, there is live entertainment some nights and it has become one of the most romantic wedding spots on the island. Away from the busy resort, check out La Cava in the heart of Ibiza Town, on Vara de Rey. The popular cafe/ restaurant is a haunt of many locals throughout the year. In the summer, it makes for a great spot to take a break from the city, grab a coffee and some tapas and watch the world go by. In the winter it becomes a focal point of the community, from breakfast through to dinner. The mambo Group is an integral part of the Ibiza fabric, offering multiple choices across the island, employing locals and seasonal workers alike and delivering a warm, friendly welcome whichever one of its venues you find yourself in.
