Ibiza 2015 will be remembered for many things, for lovers of great underground house and UK garage, it was all about Thursday night in Sankeys and Redlight. The concept had been a huge success for David Vincent in the UK through the noughties and, after a spectacular summer debut in Ibiza, it's looking forward to 2016. This year we see The Redlight join forces with Shelter, a concept that promised to showcase the very best new underground music from the UK, every Monday at Sankeys. Monday night in the Basement will see The Redlight deliver a musical soundtrack that embraces its roots as well as acknowledging its future. Guests that graced the booth in the first season included residents of the original UK party Matt Jam Lamont and Sam Holt, who were joined by house legend Todd Terry as well as garage luminaries such as DJ EZ and MJ Cole, to name only a few. Shelter welcomed the likes of Tube & Berger and Shadow Child, making for an exciting talent pool that will challenge the norm and deliver a throbbing soundtrack to get the week started.
