Electronic music connoisseurs from all over the globe have been travelling to Ibiza for decades to enjoy the island’s unrivalled offering of world-class DJs and state-of-the-art superclubs. But these days, the White Isle’s culinary scene boasts just as much star power as its legendary nightlife. With more and more international gastronomy brands flocking to the Balearic hotspot and renowned star chefs jetting in and out for one-off dining experiences, gourmets are spoilt for choice. A very special event to look out for this September will be the ‘mixing of four hands’ when La Gaia Executive Chef Óscar Molina joins forces with Mexican chef Roberto Ruiz for an exclusive tasting menu.

Located in the elegant halls of the sophisticated and luxurious Ibiza Gran Hotel, onsite restaurant La Gaia has been making a name for itself with its exotic fusion cuisine. At the beginning of the 2019 season, Executive Chef Óscar Molina presented his latest fine dining concept: Mediterranean Kaiseki. A hybrid of ancient Japanese kitchen traditions fused with fresh, local produce and Mediterranean cooking techniques, each dish is carefully balanced to showcase the colours, textures and flavours of each ingredient in an artistic celebration of food.
