Attention trance lovers! SHINE Ibiza will take over Mondays in Privilege Vista Club, launching Monday July 9, bringing you the very best of the much loved genre throughout its debut Ibiza residency. Leading the charge will be Paul van Dyk, one of the most prolific of the international DJ/ producers and someone that has enjoyed a long love affair with Ibiza, where he has been at the centre of some of the biggest, most electrifying parties.

For years trance was the dominant musical force in Ibiza, there were few clubs you could go to where the ethereal synths, diving basslines and bone-trembling beats were not washing across packed dancefloors. More often than not, Paul van Dyk was amongst the headliners, driving the sound forward and contributing more than his fair share of hair-raising anthems along the way. As the main resident of the new SHINE Ibiza party he is all set for another action-packed Ibiza season where he welcomes clubbers from all over the world for what promises to be an exciting shared trance adventure.

Having played a major role in the rise and continued success of Cream in Amnesia, this is a brand new challenge for pal van Dyk, and one he is clearly relishing; “What SHINE offers is a world of opportunities – a hub to an international community and a place where we belong, no matter where we’re from. A club within a club, Vista offers the perfect space, complete with the ability to enjoy the sun rising through the glass wall behind the booth, while it’s not an intimate space in any shape or form, it’s a small part of the world’s biggest club. It has been known to generate a roof threatening atmosphere, something that will be tested thoroughly throughout the debut SHINE season. Joining Paul van Dyk in making that happen is a collection of exciting talent, from established to breakthrough, all committed to delivering the ultimate trance experience, including Aly & Fila, Bryan Kearney, Simon Patterson, Cosmic Gate, Neelix, Grum and Ben Nicky, to name only a few. SHINE opens its doors for the first time on Monday July 9 as Paul van Dyk, Ben Nicky, Will Atkinson and Alex Ryan shoulder responsibility for setting the bar.
