UNER Goes The Solar Distance

2015 has been another big year for Spanish DJ/ producer UNER. He has continued to rock dancefloors around the world, adding to his army of fans along the way, and enjoyed one of his biggest Ibiza seasons to date. UNER showed early on in the season that 2015 was going to be his summer, capturing the imagination of all of the delegates at the International Music Summit with a back-to-back performance with Technasia in the lobby of the Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza. Numerous headline grabbing performances followed, including a return to Space alongside Carl Cox and his Saturday Ushuaia residency at Ants. As Ibiza 2015 fades into a memory, UNER maintains his busy DJ schedule and gets set to take things to the next level, with the launch of his own label, Solar Distance.

Having released his tracks on some of the world’s seminal labels – Diynamic, Cocoon, Cadenza, Get Physical, 2020 Vision, Cecille and Visionquest – UNER has worked, learned and been inspired by some of the most forward thinking imprints on the scene, and with that invaluable knowledge coupled with his own passion and desire, has decided the time is right to put down his own label roots. Solar Distance has been established with a view to identifying and nurturing new talent as well as expanding his already established CommUNERty.

UNER takes responsibility for the debut release himself with the Return/ Rebirth EP, a four-track inter galactic odyssey that epitomises the labels deeper, more refined harmonic musical style. Four tracks that showcase the extent of UNER’s musical ability from the take off with ‘The Return Of The Sun’, the continuing journey through ‘The Rebirth Of The Moon’, to the depth of ‘From The Stars’ before the descent of ‘In Your Space’, it’s a strong opening salvo from a label that promises to make a significant impact on the global scene. UNER has made a rapid rise through a hugely competitive DJ community through a principled approach to his music, hard work, humility and an undeniable ability, whether that be in the studio or the booth. Solar Distance is his latest challenge and if history has taught us anything about this driven Spanish talent it won’t waste any time making an impression.
