ULTRA Worldwide has announced its return to Privilege Ibiza as Resistance gets set to build on the success of its debut season with another series of world class events on the clubbing capital. The global party giants will host nine parties between Tuesday July 17 and September 11 with an opening party line-up that serves more as a statement of intent, including Seth Troxler, Loco Dice, Sasha & John Digweed and Paul Woolford in the main room and Charlotte de Witte, Joris Voorn, Dense & Pika and Andres Campo on Terrace duties.

One of the highlights of the opening season for Resistance in Ibiza was the reuniting of Sasha and John Digweed in an Ibiza booth, and expectation levels, which had understandably soared on the announcement were positively exceeded as the duo played an integral part in a fantastic first summer. If there was any pressure on Resistance to bring it’s a-game to the island that has shaped the global clubbing scene for decades, it didn’t show. With the clock ticking towards the start of the second summer, there are equally as many reasons to be getting excited.

It doesn’t matter when you are on the island between July and September, as every week boasts something spectacular behind the booth. Week two sees a collaboration with PLAYdifferently which sees Analogue/ Digital go head to head with Richie Hawtin headlining a main room that also features a back to back to back between Dubfire, Nicole Moudaber and Paco Osuna. Just as you catch your breath, week three sees Carl Cox celebrate his birthday in the main room while Eats Everything is joined by Sasha & John Digweed in the Terrace as well as a back to back between Carl Cox and Nic Fancuilli, reliving that famous final Space performance.

For fans of cutting edge music from the world’s most innovative artists don’t have long to wait until the party opens its 2018 account on July 17 and with artists such as Joseph Capriati, Adam Beyer, Dubfire, Technasia, Coyu, Pan-Pot, Yousef, Elio Riso and Skream amongst those added to the heavyweights already named, it promises to be another roller coaster ride you don’t want to miss.
