Ibiza Rocks House Opening 2016

Friday April 29 sees the opening of Ibiza Rocks House at Pikes for the 2016 season. The home of the real house party on the clubbing capital opens its doors at 7pm with a selection of the island’s talented DJs providing the opening salvo, and many of the innovative parties that have punctuated the last couple of years delivering an eclectic but vibrant opening soundtrack.

The fun kicks off around probably the most famous hotel pool in the world with a Balearic inspired flamenco showcase from Ibiza favourite Paco Fernandez. Pikes plays host to a number of exciting party collaborations all year round, many of which will make an appearance at the opening on April 29 with Rock Nights taking over Chez Fez and Melon Bomb, Secret Life, Homies, Music For Freaks and Cosmic Pineapple all represented. Freddie’s, the scene of countless raucous gatherings in the past, will play host to island DJs Justin Harris, Andy Baxter and Tom Crane, dropping beats on one of the most vocal crowds anywhere.

Ibiza Rocks House at Pikes offers a unique party space, the hotel has the feel of a huge house, with the numerous outdoor areas complementing the intimate party spaces within, making for numerous mini parties breaking out across the area. The pool area is perfect for an early evening cocktail, a pool area that has welcomed a-list celebrities from the film, TV and music world throughout its island tenure and which appeared so famously in that Wham! Club Tropicana video in the 80s! When the sun goes down and the beats get deeper, Chez Fez and Freddie’s is where you’ll find an atmosphere to rival all of the big island parties.

Ibiza 2016 promises to be another exciting for Ibiza Rocks House at Pikes, Rock Nights returns to take over the Wednesday night live show after party, Doorly & Friends will be moving into Monday night and there is a return to the ‘House’ for DJ Harvey, with a seven week Mercury Rising residency. Mike Skinner and Murkage Dave bring their Tonga party to Pikes on Friday July 22 and the hugely popular Pikes On Sunday returns starting on Sunday May 1. There are details still to be released but Ibiza Rocks House at Pikes will feature prominently during Ibiza 2016.
