Palapa Ibiza Opens For 2018

Palapa Ibiza has opened its doors and is ready to serve you a delicious array of Mexican street food and cocktails from its San Antonio location. The fresh concept made an instant impact on the island, offering a wide range of mouth-watering dishes and refreshing cocktails with a spectacular view across the port. From the Mambo Ibiza group, Palapa comes from extremely good stock.

It’s the latest Ibiza venue to open its doors for 2018 as the island gently pops its head out from under the winter duvet and get set for what promises to be another huge summer. Palapa offers a vibrant atmosphere, with cool sound track setting the tone, the perfect location for an early start for breakfast, a long lunch, a friends dinner or a spot to watch the big football match on the TV. The terrace is the only place to find yourself when the sun is out, offering an al fresco dining experience and the perfect vantage point to watch the world go by. The menu packs a punch with a wide selection of fare to choose from; our favourite is the pulled chicken nachos but you could also be tempted by a selection of tantalising tacos – pulled pork, fried prawn with mango, pulled chicken and avocado and pork and pineapple. The pizzas are not to be ignored either, the BBQ chicken is a definite one to savour and for those that prefer a simple but delicious burger, the Palapa burger is exactly what the doctor ordered.

It doesn’t matter what time of day you find yourself in this delightful eatery, the welcome is warm and genuine and there’s always something going on. Whether you are an early riser dropping in for coffee or breakfast, enjoying a long lunch, meeting friends or family for dinner or hanging out for drinks with mates, Palapa offers a chilled vibe that is easy to get comfortable in. We recommend you sample some of its amazing cocktails, the kiwi mojito is a popular choice but it’s the frozen margaritas that arguably complement the tacos best. For traditionalists, strawberry daiquiris are well worth a taste! Palapa is also child friendly and is open now from 10am until 19.00, if you’re on the island, it’s well worth a visit.
