Lio celebrated its fourth anniversary this summer, four years that has seen it redefine a night out in Ibiza for those that prefer their experience to be a little more exclusive. The Pacha group unveiled the cabaret/ lounge/ restaurant/ club with the view to offering clients that wanted the restaurant experience as well as the late night dancing but didn't want to go in search of each part of it. It offers a spectacular destination and has proved to be hugely popular from the moment it opened its grand wooden doors. Situated in the heart of Marina Ibiza, the venue has an open back, which faces on to the marina itself and enjoys a breathtaking view of Ibiza old town and Dalt Villa.A night out in Lio is unlike anything you have experienced on the island before, from fine dining in lavish surroundings, accompanied by a world class cabaret show, complete with singing, dancing and acrobatics, it then evolves into a late night lounge where some of the finest club brands and DJs drop in and offer the option of dancing into the wee small hours. As a Pacha venue, it exudes that class and sophistication that you would expect from the lifestyle brand, and with tables for the summer selling out as quick as the best parties, you have to be quick to make sure you get the booking you want. There's no special night to attend the cabaret as it is packed and as good any night, the only difference is in the after hours entertainment, so check and make sure you pick the night that best suits you. Tuesday sees Tom Novy and Timeless take over the booth, Thursday is the turn of Jean Claude Ades and his Be Crazy concept and Friday is Vintage by Sebastian Gamboa. There are also other parties on throughout the summer season.
