Nassau Beach Club Celebrates 10th Anniversary In Style

‘Young souls never get old, they only get better’ was the motto which the Braun family had chosen to celebrate a big year for their company, welcoming not only one, but two big milestones this summer: the 30th anniversary of the Nassau Group’s first commercial venue on the White Isle, Casa Munich, as well as the 10th birthday of stylish beach club Nassau Beach Ibiza. And the slogan couldn’t have been more fitting, as both the boutique hotel and the seaside bar and restaurant dazzled guests with their charm and beauty on the night of the official anniversary party.

Nassau Beach Ibiza, the first venue to bring fine dining, stylish surroundings and quality entertainment to Playa d’en Bossa, leading the way for others to follow, looked more stunning than ever on the day of the celebrations, its bright and airy interiors decorated with fresh flowers and the signature white shell hanging mobiles swaying in the breeze. Many guests had come down to pass on their well wishes and enjoy a day spent lounging on the spacious daybeds or a leisurely lunch overlooking the glittering Mediterranean Sea. With resident Abel Pons on the decks playing the finest deep house and Balearic tracks, the gloriously sunny day was the perfect example to showcase just why Nassau Beach Ibiza has remained at the top of the game for so long.

After the sun had set, party proceedings began in earnest. Revellers were flocking to the stylish seaside venue from all corners of the island and the beach club looked amazing illuminated with ambient neon lighting. The dining area was filled with guests sampling the delicious Mediterranean and Asian inspired fare, as well as fresh sushi, accompanied by cocktails and fine wines to toast the occasion.

A huge cinema screen had been set up on the beach for an al fresco screening later in the night, a birthday surprise for Nassau Beach Ibiza’s many loyal customers as well as new fans of the concept. Amidst much excitement, it was unveiled to be a short film set in the grounds of both Casa Munich and the beach club, showing off the charm and beauty of each venue in a sophisticated yet amusing look at the style and spirit of the Nassau Group and its discerning clientele. There were goose bumps all around when, after the arty black and white film had ended, huge sparklers were set off, framing an even bigger fire display that spelled out 10 Years.

Inside, set to the infectious sound of Paul Young’s Love Is In The Air, a huge birthday cake was carried out, with the whole Nassau crew coming together for an impromptu conga and group hug. With resident DJs Alex Kentucky and David Crops taking it in turns to provide the perfect soundtrack to the glamorous birthday celebrations, the atmosphere was vibrant and joyful, with many guests staying on after dinner to enjoy the music and socialise. The good news for Nassau Beach Club fans from all over the world is that celebrations will continue throughout the season with plenty of surprises and a monthly party, with the ‘June edition’ taking place on the 3rd of the month.
