Valentine’s day didn’t go as planned? Saturday February 18 is your chance to get back in the good books as Gato Suave & Willy Wey present Groove Is In The Heart of Tanit Beach, a special Valentine’s day dinner and dance and a trip through the best music of the 80’s and 90’s.

Spending the day at the beach, especially out of season, when it’s not packed with tourists, is one of the perks of living in Ibiza. The long stretch of Playa d’en Bossa beach makes for a completely different animal in the winter. Even better when the sun shines and you can paddle in the sea! What better way to enjoy that experience than at one of the island’s finest beach concepts? Tanit Beach offers a stylish destination all year round and with a range of themed events to add to the experience, it’s no surprise it has become one of the go-to venues. Groove Is In The Heart Of Tanit Beach is a quirky take on the Valentine’s celebration, offering a nostalgic journey through two decades of musical hits, as well as a mouth-watering food and drink celebration.

The feast gets under way with a choice of starters including Burratina, spinach leaves, dried figs, Parma ham and basil vinaigrette and sweet chilli, pumpkin and carrot Thai soup and brandada of cod, poached eggs, Ibérico ham and garlic crumbs. The main course choices are equally appealing, from pad Thai with tofu, cashew nuts and poultry egg to wild salmon sautéed with lemon and ginger, carrot juice and vegetables and finally red chicken curry with tender onion, herbs and noodles in two textures. Make sure you don’t eat much prior to your arrival as you’re going to want to have room for dessert; pineapple cooked in vanilla, cinnamon, honey, cashews, yogurt and spicy cilantro sauce or chocolate brownie and walnuts, banana caramelized rum and coconut foam. The meal includes water, soft drinks and wine and is priced at just 38€ per person.
