Hï Ibiza has already been responsible for more than its fair share of firsts for Ibiza and it has yet to celebrate its one-month anniversary but perhaps one of the most anticipated of its introductions is the debut solo residency for island heavyweight Eric Prydz, who gets his Tuesday night party under way on June 20.

Eric Prydz will take control of Hï Ibiza’s Theatre for 10 weeks from June 20, bringing a selection of the most exciting global artists to join him as he undertakes a solo residency for the first time. It’s hard to believe that one of the world’s most respected DJs and producers and a man that has been at the heart of some of the biggest Ibiza parties, has never felt the urge to accept what must have been many solo residency invitations. Until now!

Having recently sold out a 15,000 capacity show in London, he shows he has lost none of his pulling power, arguably arriving at Hï Ibiza at the very peak of his power. Eric Prydz has never been the extrovert performer that bathes in the limelight, he prefers to dedicate himself to his profession, to challenge musical boundaries and to consistently deliver the very best quality music, whether it is his own production on while on remix duties. It’s this dedication that has won him the army of fans that follows him and the fact that he just wants to play music and make people dance has not done him any harm at all.

The opening line-up gives an indication as to the level of entertainment that can be expected on a weekly basis on Tuesday night in Hï Ibiza with Eric Prydz being joined by Agoria and Cristoph, two other pioneering artists that constantly challenge their fans with some unbelievable music. All three artists have an ability to move the dancefloor and, in the sleek setting of Hî Ibiza’s Theatre, it promises to be an axciting start for the new party. In the Club meanwhile, Andrea Oliva & Friends also gets its Tuesday night residency off and running, adding up to one of the finest line-ups of any Ibiza party. Joining Andrea Oliva will be Guti (live) and Gianni Callipari, while Paul Reynolds returns for more shenanigans in the Wild Corner.
