With the sun still beaming down on the White Isle, belying the fact that we are already half-way through October, now is the time to cram in a few more sun-soaked beach days before winter officially takes over. And where better to catch some rays than the beautiful bohemian beach club concept Aiyanna Ibiza in Cala Nova? The stunning seaside destination will be ending its debut season on October 15th, so guests still have a few more days to enjoy the stylish surroundings and delicious culinary offering that have made the venue a standout success in its first year on the island.

Sister venue to the renowned Amante Ibiza, one of the island’s most successful coastal hotspots, we had high expectations when it was announced that Aiyanna was due to open its doors in June – and we were not disappointed. The chic but relaxed design with eye-catching colourful details, mouth-watering menu and breath-taking views over the Mediterranean Sea made it the perfect destination to come and relax with friends and family in the tranquil North of the island.

With Aiyanna’s kitchen team headed up by award-winning chef Oscar Reboredo, the venue offers a healthy and nutritious menu focussed on Mediterranean cuisine with a Middle Eastern touch. From fresh juices to glorious seafood, over the course of the summer diners enjoyed delicacies such as the classic Ibicencan tomato salad with a side of creamy burrata cheese, chewy squid rings coated in the perfect crispy batte accompanied by black rice and squid ink aioli, and sea bass served on a bed of peppers and potatoes baked in paper with coconut and exotic spices. Colourful, fresh and full of flavour, each dish represented a feast for all senses.

On top of its outstanding food and drink offering, Aiyanna Ibiza also introduced weekly morning yoga sessions followed by a nutritious breakfast, inviting wellness fans to start the day in style with a peaceful class suited to all levels overlooking the glittering waves. Special events such as a reggae night and film screening further helped to establish the venue as a gathering point for both residents and visitors to the White Isle.

Marketing & Press Coordinator Roberta Esposito told us of the success of Aiyanna’s first year, “Our debut season has simply been amazing. We have many ideas for next year, and we are planning to give more space to creative and entertaining events! We will be opening again in the last week of April 2018 and are looking forward to welcoming back our loyal guests.”
