For the third year running San Antonio watersports destination Surf Lounge Ibiza is celebrating the festival of Saint Bartholomew, the patron saint of the Sant Antoni de Portmany area, with a day jam-packed with food and activities suitable for visitors of all ages. On August 24th, families, friends and couples can enjoy a ride on the thrilling artificial wave the Flowrider – the only of its kind on the island – refuel at the barbecue and watch the fireworks display in the evening with a delicious drink in hand. The first 80 guests to arrive between12.30 and 14.30 and order a drinks mínimum will surf the wave for free.

Then, from 19.00 to 21.00, daring females can have a go at no charge as part of the weekly ‘Ladies Sunset’. A special dinner menu has been created for those who want to enjoy the full Surf Lounge Ibiza hospitality experience. The set selection includes three sized-to-share entrées: a tomato soup and octopus cocktail; Majorcan sausage pâté stuffed with quail eggs and honey mayonnaise, and vegetable gyoza in ponzu sauce. Surf Lounge recommends continuing with a slow-cooked salmon and yucca chips or steak with baked potatoes. For dessert, there are Spanish chocolate donuts with lemon sorbet, while drinks include wine and water.
