Pau Brasil Ready For Reopening

Travel to the heart of Ibiza, on the road to Santa Gertrudis and you will find a colourful slice of Brazil, Pau Brasil to be exact, a mouth-watering churrascaria steakhouse – the only one on the island – with a simple ethos – no menu, no rules, no limits! Serving beef, chicken, pork and lamb cooked over a Brazilian BBQ, Pau Brasil is set to make a huge impact on Ibiza this summer. The official re-opening party takes place on Wednesday June 15 from 20.00.

Brazil is famous for its carnival and for its love of a party, something that Pau Brasil is acutely aware of. The re-opening party promises to be an exciting fiesta, with welcome cocktails and nibbles between 20.00 and 22.00 as well as bossa nova and samba jazz in the dining area and a DJ set in the cocktail area. The live music continues from 22.00 until late in the main area, where a live concert featuring dancing crew Maracutaia will keep you entertained. There’s a kids playground to keep the little ones occupied and a KURRU KURRU boutique for those that enjoy some retail therapy after dinner. For those that want to sample the amazing dinner experience, make sure you book in advance.

Pau Brasil offers a vibrant experience, not unlike the country itself. The venue features a house, set in welcoming gardens that produces a romantic setting in the heart of the country. Live music and themed events add to the dining experience, which is focused on Churrasco show cooking. There is no menu as such, although you do have a choice of meats and a variety of dishes to complement them; including a salad and side dish buffet: grilled vegetables, German salads, grated cauliflower and asparagus, different types of potatoes, beans and vegetarian couscous. To wash it down there are various wines, cavas and champagnes, a selection of delicious cocktails including caipirinhas using premium cachaça and for those not drinking, natural juices, smoothies and other alcohol free drinks. Having been lucky enough to experience the Churrascaria in Brazil, we can’t wait to sample its unique atmosphere once again!
