Endless Summer Goes Out With A Bang At Nassau Tanit Posted on October 10, 2016 Words: Olivia Ebeling Images: La Skimal share this tweet this When it comes to the glorious sunshine, clear waters and golden sands that make the Ibiza summer so irresistible, Nassau Tanit Beach in Playa d’en Bossa is undoubtedly one of the best places to experience beach life on the White Isle. Add to that the sublime summer sound of the Endless Entertainment crew, the comfortable sunbeds and delicious food and cocktails, and you have the recipe for a perfect day on the White Isle. Throughout what has been one of the busiest seasons Ibiza has ever seen, the Endless Summer concept and Nassau’s famous hospitality have kept guests dancing on the sands from lunchtime until the evening with line-ups that combined international DJ talent and live music artists to deliver the ultimate Balearic soundtrack. But, with the closing parties in full swing and the October weather showing itself from its most temperamental side, it’s time to acknowledge that autumn is taking over the island and so we popped along to celebrate that Endless Summer feeling one more time at the party series’ closing bash. With the sun scorching down, Nassau Tanit was already bustling with guests when we arrived, propping ourselves up at the bar to cool down with a refreshing frozen lemonade. Chaz Washington, an Endless regular, was on the decks spinning the finest in laid-back house, perfectly encapsulating that incomparable Ibiza feeling in his sun-drenched set. A pop-up bar offered revelers a natural booster cocktail made with a new passion fruit soft drink the Endless team is set to launch next year and island-favourite LAW Premium Dry Gin, a spirit produced from locally grown, organic ingredients. We can never resist the delicious foodie treats at Nassau Tanit Beach and decided to fuel up over lunch before hitting the dance floor. A luscious burrata cheese melted in our mouths and, accompanied by a fruity tomato salsa, peppery rocket and tangy balsamic spheres, offered a delicious contrast between sweet and savoury tastes. Huge, juicy tempura prawns delivered a satisfying crunch and surprised us with a spicy kick, while a ceviche dish made from fresh tuna fillet and avocado wowed with its delicately layered aromas and zest. For our mains, we swooned over a creamy but spicy Thai red curry with chicken, young onions and noodles prepared in two different textures; some cooked until soft and others perched on top as a crunchy layer. Delicate sea bass and salmon fillets were served on a mountain of crunchy vegetables, while the lobster salad with sweet mango chunks, egg and crispy croutons was a feast of colours, textures and flavours. The food was so good, our heads only perked up from the delicious dishes in front of us when we heard the unmistakable sound of a live e-guitar joining the infectious house beats. Throughout the whole summer, both Nassau Beach and Nassau Tanit have treated us to excellent live music, ranging from funky sax sounds by Saintro P to beautiful piano performances by Yorch In The Mix and mini gigs by island-favourite vocalists such as The X Factor standout Christopher Peyton. It’s a philosophy that resonates perfectly with the Endless parties, and this time guitarist Manuel Moore was wowing the audience, which, by now, started to gather around the DJ booth in the outdoor bar area, with his skills. Effortlessly jamming with Endless founder Paul Lomax, who had taken over to the decks, the afternoon was gathering pace as the venue started to fill up more and more. With the crowd definitely in the mood to party, singer Rufus Martin received a warm welcome when he took over the microphone to wow guests with a live performance straight from the dance floor. His soulful vocals and engaging performance, dancing alongside revelers while singing, stole everyone’s hearts and took the atmosphere to the next level. With the sun beaming down on us and the music lifting us up, it truly felt like this year, summer really is endless… share this tweet this
