Hot on the heels of Hï Ibiza’s grand opening night, where he gave clubbers a first taste of what’s about to hit them when the curtain goes up for his debut residency on the White Isle this weekend, Black Coffee is in the starting blocks to rock the brand new super club on Saturday, June 3rd. The South African DJ and producer will be pulling out all the stops to welcome clubbers to his first official home in Ibiza – and what a jaw-dropping set-up he has got to play with!

Winner of the Best Deep House DJ Award 2016, Black Coffee will have a state-of-the-art sound system to unleash his powerful beats into the crowd with, as well as a totally unique production and lighting system to blow his audience’s minds with. Holding court in Hï Ibiza’s spacious Theatre (Room 1), which has been designed to give party goers the ultimate clubbing experience, fans will be able to watch this significant moment in the master mixer’s career almost on eye level with him, while enjoying a party space that has been created to keep the party as uninterrupted as possible. Add to that futuristic kinetic lights that move, ice cannons and plenty more technical trickery, and you have one amazing clubbing environment at your hands.

Hï Ibiza CEO Yann Pissenem told us, “I love Black Coffee, his sound is crazy and he is bringing something new to the island that not everybody knows yet. There is this amazing, huge niche of music in South Africa, everyone from the hairdresser to the taxi driver really knows a lot about music, and we are hoping to bring a little taste of this unknown market to the island. I’m super excited about this party.”

For the inaugural night of his first residency on the White Isle, Black Coffee will be joined by German cross-over artist, producer and DJ Henrik Schwarz, and Salomé, a music selector from the U.S. known for her funky and melodic tech house, house and disco sound. In the Club (Room 2), Lee Burridge and YokoO will show off their skills in an environment that feels distinctively underground, allowing for an intimate yet raw music experience with many optical and sonic surprises. And, following the huge success the Wild Corner enjoyed during Hï Ibiza’s opening, revellers should most definitely check out what awaits in the unisex bathroom that has got the island talking!

The first of Hï Ibiza’s residents to be announced, it seems the whole of the White Isle is eagerly anticipating what the multi award-winning Black Coffee will do with a whole series of nights dedicated to his infectious, cosmopolitan and emotive music aesthetic. Running from June 3rd until September 30th, the rising global star has curated a roster of the finest international talent as well as celebrated island talent, with the likes of &Me, Ame, Bedouin, Cassy, Damian Lazarus, DJ Harvey, Guy Gerber, Loco Dice, Lum, Andrea Oliva, Maya Jane Coles and The Mekanism joining him over the course of the summer amongst many other exciting artists.
