Black Coffee Hï Ibiza Line Up Revealed

For Black Coffee, June 3 can’t come quick enough, as he embarks on his first solo Ibiza residency. Taking on the Saturday night of brand new super-club Hï Ibiza is a monumental task but one the talented South African is more than capable of, especially give the depth of talent he can call to the booth in the recently revealed season line-up. Everywhere you look on the long list you find a talented artist, full of experience and ability; from Guy Gerber to Maya Jane Coles, Mr Fingers AKA Larry Heard live to Damian Lazarus, not to mention DJ Harvey and Andrea Oliva, to name only a few.

Winner of the Best Deep House DJ at the 2016 International DJ Awards, Black Coffee is one of the most exciting artists on the international scene, originally graduating from the Red Bull Academy in 2003, he has consistently performed at a high level in the booth and the studio, with a platinum selling album, ‘Pieces Of Me’ cementing his worldwide status. Fiercely proud of his heritage, Black Coffee has included a selection of Africa’s finest talent to join him this summer, including Culoe de Song (performing on both June 17 and August 19), Da Capo who will make three separate appearances across the summer as well as South African duo Black Motion, Hyenah and Cape Town selector Ryan Murgatroyd.

The Black Coffee residency will feature some of the most innovative producers of the generation, performing live in Hï Ibiza, including legendary house hero Mr Fingers AKA Larry Heard, Innervisions mainstays Âme and Henrik Schwarz, Dutch producer Satori and Israeli musician Chaim. August 19 sees Disco Don DJ Harvey make his Hï Ibiza debut in the Club, bringing his box of magic vinyl with him to tantalise and entertain. Everywhere you look on the line up there is a credible name, from Crosstown Rebels boss Damian Lazarus to Loco Dice, BLOND:ISH to Andrea Oliva, nipping over from his own Tuesday night Hï Ibiza residency for the night.

Black Coffee’s was the first of the new club’s residents to be announced and now, with the line-up out there, it promises to be one of the biggest parties in a weekly schedule full of high profile protagonists. “Since the start of my career, I’ve been driven by the desire to share my taste in music and expose the world to the beauty of South African dance music… I believe that Hï Ibiza is the perfect place to do that.
