Atzaro Beach Restaurant in Cala Nova is one such place, which is actually worth a visit whether is scorching or not as, even on the cooler days, the drama that is caused by the waves smashing the rocks below is well worth checking out. Open Wednesday to Sunday out of season, from 10.00am until 6.00pm, there is a kids corner daily, with games, painting and learning for the little ones, leaving the adults to enjoy some free time and everyone to treat Atzaro restaurant like a home away from home. Saturday sees the venue come alive with live music performance, from 1.30pm, overlooking the island of Tagomago, featuring the best soul, jazz and rock, sound tracking another fine Mediterranean day by the beach. The elevated position on the restaurant affords it panoramic views of one of the most charming and authentic of the Ibiza beaches. Ibiza out of season is a completely different animal, the vibe is much more relaxed and people have time to stop, look around and catch up with one another. The strong community spirit might not be what drew everyone here on the first place but it’s definitely what holds everyoine together.
