Glitterbox Set For Final Fling

Friday night in Playa d’en Bossa has danced to the disco beat this summer as popular party Glitterbox took up residence in brand-new club Hï Ibiza. The hugely successful 16-week residency is set to come to a conclusion on Friday September 29 as Glitterbox welcomes Louie Vega, Dimitri From Paris, Roger Sanchez, Session Victim, Simon Dunmore, Melon Bomb, DJ Pippi and live PA from Barbara Tucker for what promises to be a spectacular finale.

Glitterbox has been one of the most popular Ibiza parties of recent years, offering a completely different experience and a dash of glamour and colour to the nocturnal Ibiza scene. Featuring some of the hottest new talent alongside industry giants on a season line-up that was packed with household names, Friday night in Hï Ibiza saw giant glitterballs hanging over the Theatre dancefloor as house and disco ruled the room. To celebrate another fantastic summer, Glitterbox compilation ‘Disco’s revenge’ is out now, meaning the groovy sounds can continue all through the year!

The final line-up needs very little introduction; Louie Vega is every bit the Master At Work as he continues his love affair with Ibiza, Dimitri From Paris is one of the foremost disco dons and Roger Sanchez is a multi-deck wizard that has been at the centre of more than his fair share of amazing house parties. Label boss, DJ and driving force behind this party and Defected records, Simon Dunmore has a pedigree unmatched by most, DJ Pippi is a genuine Ibiza legend and Melon Bomb has been one of the Ibiza finds of the last few years! When it comes to live performers, the Queen of house, Barbara Tucker, is more than capable of rocking the floor.

When it launched, Glitterbox was a party focused on the dancefloor and the music with very little production and that remains the message today. The giant glitterballs aside, the party boasts some sexy dancers and some controversial performers that recreate the naughty Studio 54 vibe as its musical protagonists lay down an unparalleled sound track.
