December In The Cherry Room Posted on December 19, 2017 Words: Iain Thomson share this tweet this While Pacha Ibiza may have shut its doors for the first time this winter, the twin cherries still offers a regular opportunity to hit the dancefloor with the Cherry Room, an intimate space within El Hotel. The next one of those comes on Saturday December 23 from 22.30h until closing, when you can enjoy the restaurant, the finest cocktails and the club, where 2Vilas and Graham Sahara will be in session. Winter in Ibiza just wouldn’t feel the same without the one brand that has been omnipresent on the island all year round for half a century. Taking the party to a more intimate but equally stylish space has resulted in some memorable gatherings already, with the islanders showing just what it means to reclaim the dancefloor after a summer of sharing it with clubbers from all over the world. Growing up in Ibiza, you are surrounded by four-four beats, learning to dance almost before you can walk, and for those that choose the island as a home, chances are the influence of its club scene was instrumental in the majority of those decisions. What this means is that every time there is a winter gathering, the atmosphere is always electric. Holding court on December 23 is 2Vilas and Graham Sahara, Ibiza DJs that need very little introduction. 2Vilas, AKA Hector and Carlos, is a DJ/ production duo that has been at the heart of many of the hottest Ibiza gatherings. Having built up an army of followers on the back of some outstanding performances, as well as a consistency in the studio that has seen their tunes hold pride of place in many of the peers’ sets, the duo has seen their international stock rise in recent years, travelling regularly to keep up with demand. Graham Sahara picked up the Best Ibiza DJ at the latest DJ Awards, an accolade that recognises his immense contribution to the island and scene as a whole. He lays the foundations for many of the biggest summer parties, with an ability to read and react to any dancefloor. The combination of the two is a mouth-watering one as we head towards the festive season. share this tweet this
