And The Winners Are!

Icon Ibiza and Surf Air competition winners Hollie and Brad have landed back in the UK after whirlwind trip to Ibiza, where they enjoyed some of the island’s finest experiences. With over 26,000 entrants to the exclusive Ibiza competition the duo had their choice of a selection of world-class Ibiza venues to visit, something they could contemplate as they relaxed in their 8-seater private jet. The adventure started at Luton airport, where the Embraer Phenom 300 Surf Air jet was waiting to whisk them to the magical island and a four-night stay in award winning Hotel Es Vivé.

Participating partners also included Smart Charter Ibiza, Nassau Beach Ibiza, Cotton Beach Club, La Belle Ibiza, IZAKAYA, Ocean Beach Ibiza, La Cava, Café Mambo, Café Del Mar, Cocoon, Glitterbox, Ushuaïa Ibiza, Hï Ibiza and Black Diamond Ibiza, offering Hollie and Brad far more than they could cram into four days on the island, so, as they travelled to Ibiza, they made the final decisions on how and where they would be spending their time. Landing in Ibiza, Hollie and Brad exited through the private terminal and into a luxury range rover courtesy of Essential Ibiza cars and off to Es Vive Hotel. Located in the heart of Figueretes, within easy reach of both Ibiza Town and Playa d’en Bossa, the elegant boutique hotel was voted Best Designed Hotel In Europe Under 200 Rooms at The International Hotel & Property Awards.

Flying private is definitely the only way to travel, if you can, and with little fuss and zero stress, our competition winners are checked in and relaxing by the stunning Es Vivé Hotel pool in no time! For the first night in Ibiza, the happy couple chose to experience the world-famous Ibiza sunset, enjoying dinner at famous sunset spot Café Mambo. After an early night, and a chilled start to the day lounging around the hotel, it was time for lunch at Ocean Beach Ibiza. The restaurant is famous for its steak and it didn’t disappoint. After a fantastic feast, an afternoon relaxing around the huge pool listening to its resident DJs dropping delicious beats underlines why it has become one of Ibiza’s most popular destinations.

Wednesday saw Hollie and Brad head back to the beach, this time to Playa d’en Bossa and the elegant beach concept of Nassau Beach Ibiza. Another gastronomic adventure and an afternoon on a luxurious day bed with the finest beats sound tracking the experience. After cocktails in Es Vivé’s Sky Bar, where the panoramic view is nothing short of spectacular, it was relatively new Ibiza eatery, IZAKAYA, for dinner. The famous restaurant first made its name in Amsterdam as part of the exclusive Sir Joan hotel chain. It has made an instant impact in Ibiza and made for a very special late-night stop for a fantastic feast. Thursday was time for a completely unique adventure, courtesy of Smart Charter Ibiza as the crew headed to Formentera for the day on their own private luxury boat. The feeling of the wind in the hair as the engines engaged coming out of the port, the luxurious interior making for the perfect spot to watch the Ibiza coast pass by before dropping anchor off Formentera for a swim and paddle-board on the turquoise water.

The last day of your trip is normally one that gets a little spoiled, you’re waiting around to go home, everything is packed and you know you have to leave. Not so for our winner, as Hollie and Brad enjoyed a day chilling around the Es Vivé pool, enjoying some lunch and stress free, knowing they would be dropping into the private terminal, without any queues, and their Surf Air flight back to the UK.
