With summer edging undeniably nearer, one of Ibiza’s most famous – and most beloved – club nights has just confirmed their line-up for a mammoth six months residency on the White Isle. Set to kick off its 16th year on the island on May 30th, founder Sven Väth has announced the Cocoon party calendar for the iconic concept’s longest ever season.

Returning to a club that is as revered and legendary as the night itself, Väth’s jaw-dropping roster of names will once more take Amnesia by storm every Monday before ending the season with one final big blowout on October 3rd.

With a never-ending commitment to bring the best possible dance music and atmosphere to one of the best clubbing venues in the world, it’s high time to get excited about what the Cocoon crew have lined-up for you this year and get your tickets!

It’s a special year for the Cocoon crew, as the team celebrates 20 years of huge international success and recognition, so the line-up is peppered with big names and exciting fresh talent alike. For a start, the big man himself is set to play an incredible 15 sets throughout the summer, taking over the terrace for the Grand Opening and Closing Party as well as a generous amount of mind-blowing nights in between.

 

Ricardo Villalobos is set to perform six exclusive shows, with Cocoon favourite Adam Beyer also taking over the decks for six nights. Nina Kraviz, Sonja Moonear and tINI are going to spin tunes on four nights each, with Ilario Alicante chalking up 7 gigs. Meanwhile, keep your eyes peeled for Dixon, Luciano, Richie Hawtin, Solomun, Mano le Tough and Âme, all of whom are on board for one epic summer tear-up!

Cocoon’s signature fantastical visual production, which sucks music lovers ever deeper into the vortex of the mind-blowing music, will be handled by Dub Video Connection this year who will boggle your mind with 3D effects, video, lights and installations.

But that’s not all. Cocoon at Tipic Formentera also returns for a more intimate gathering on Ibiza’s stunning neighbouring isle on Thursday nights.
