Easter Friday in Ibiza saw many of the island’s creative elite gather in the Ibiza Art Studio to welcome the new collaboration with FilmPlus Ibiza that promises to revolutionise island photo shoots, exhibitions, events and pop-ups by delivering a drive in space with fully equipped infinity cove, offering a unique canvas for creative souls on and off the island. The invite only event signified the unveiling of a state of the art space that can help bring to fruition the innovative ideas and concepts that the island nurtures on a daily basis. The movers and shakers of Ibiza were out in force – it was the opening of an extremely fabulous envelope – FILMPLUS Ibiza has set up shop in the Ibiza Art Studio for what promises to be an exciting new collaboration. From make up artists, hair stylists, videographers, photographers to bloggers, almost all of the creative crowd of the Ibiza scene attended the invitation only event, it was great to catch up with everyone after our respective whirlwind winters, exchanging travelling stories over glasses of bubbles. As a stylist I am always on the look out for a great studio to shoot the next look book. So I am personally very happy with this unique space in the centre of town.

Joining forces with Ibiza Art Studio takes things to the next level for both concepts, offering a state of the art space that can be tweaked to meet any need and a service that facilitates all kinds of production, it’s a match made in heaven. Standing in the space, surrounded by many of the creative souls on the island, it was not hard to imagine a cool photo shoot taking place in front of the infinity cove, or a scene from a music video, or a product launch with a-list DJ delivering chunky beats to a captive audience. Ibiza has long been recognized as an island where the creative juices flow freely, from the world famous club scene and the innovative DJs/ producers/ promoters from all over the world descend and deliver throughout the season to the artisan scene where new clothing lines or jewellery businesses are born. Ibiza has been a magnet for the creative crew for as long as I can remember and with this collaboration, they have somewhere to exercise those creative muscles.
