Reggae tracks are interspersed with funky, soulful beats, so tapping your toes in the sand becomes an obligatory side affect of every visit.

All this goes some way to explaining why El Chiringuito is celebrating another exceptional year, but there is just a natural magic to this place. The owners have tapped into the essence of everything that’s great about a day at the beach and supersized it purely for everyone else’s delight. So if you hire one of its luxurious day beds, you’ll have cocktails and food delivered to you without having to move a muscle (try the cava sangria, it’s famous on the island). And if you book a table for lunch or dinner you’ll be amazed by the simple but beautifully executed menu. Everything at El Chiringuito is about quality, so only the finest ingredients are used and the attention to detail is what makes even the modest of plates pop. Even the on-site boutique is a thing to behold – even you’re going to pay it a visit make sure you put aside some serious time because you’ll be browsing its diminutive but well curated rails for longer than you think.
