Destino Pacha Ibiza Resort Opening 2017

Partying in the open air has been an Ibiza tradition for as long as we can remember, and there are few spots that offer the grandeur of Destino Pacha Ibiza Resort. Perched on the edge of Cap Martinet, boasting stunning views across the bay to Ibiza Town, the iconic stage in the heart of the luxury resort has witnessed some unforgettable shows during its island tenure and on Friday June 2, it gets set to open the doors on its fifth summer.

While the resort itself has been open since April 28, the official party will take place on Friday June 2 at 4pm and sees Luciano, Guy Gerber and DJ Shimza headlining the special event that also features Angel Linde, Javier Gonzalez, Asobitai and Angioma. Luciano is no stranger to holding court at Destino Pacha Ibiza Resort in recent years, the mercurial DJ/ producer has a huge on island following and his ability to hypnotise a crowd and take it on a magical journey has resulted in numerous previous outstanding gatherings in the open air theatre.

The part runs from day into night, with the pool area of Destino Pacha Ibiza Resort offering itself as a dancefloor for the occasion. The ability to dance in the open air, first under the sun and later the stars, is something that has played an integral part in the evolution of Ibiza into the world’s clubbing capital. In Destino Pacha Ibiza Resort, the island boasts a stylish space that lends itself perfectly to a festival vibe. Sexy dancers occupy raised podiums, stamina hardened clubbers dance non-stop for hours in front of the elevated stage and there are countless spots around the area to chill, grab a drink, catch up with friends or take in the jaw dropping view.

Destino Pacha Ibiza Resort hosts a select amount of parties during the season, with details still to be announced, but previous residents include Luciano himself as well as Solomun and Guy Gerber and who could forget the Sven Väth and Cocoon takeover in recent years. The opening party always has that extra sense of anticipation, the first of the season, the chance to get back to the fantastic space for a party and it always boasts a fitting line up. Guy Gerber and SJ Shimaz need no introduction to the Ibiza clubber, having both made significant island contributions previously. Guy Gerber brings his Rumors party back for another season, which is yet another reason to be looking forward to the return of Destino Pacha Ibiza Resort. For now, however, all eyes are on the opening on Friday June 2.
