Hot on the heels of the buzz that Destino Pacha Ibiza Resort’s epic opening party caused last week, the stylish open-air party space has announced the full line-up for one of Ibiza’s most successful mini residencies: Solomun + Live. Sunday nights with the rising global star DJ at iconic Ibiza venue Pacha is one of the hottest tickets on the island, so fans of the master mixer will be jumping at the chance to see him in the more intimate setting of Destino.

The sleek hotel has created a hype around its al fresco poolside events, which attracts many of the most renowned music selectors in the business as well as much loved island-favourites. There is nothing quite like dancing underneath the White Isle’s starry night skies, with the breeze from the sea keeping you cool as you let lose in front of Destino’s festival-style stage right by the azure statement pool.

This season, the Solomun + Live fun will kick off on July 6th with Johannes Brecht, a classically trained professional musician who is roughing up the electronic music scene. Of course, he releases on Diynamic, but also on Mule Music and Poker Flat, and never fails to conjure up fresh soundscapes. August 10th will see Red Axes take to the booth for a unique and eclectic set that is perfect for Ibiza’s multinational vibe. The Israeli duo mixes up guitars and synths into melodically moving tracks that take them all over the world. They have been doing so since 2010 on Hivern Discs, ESP Institute and Permanent Vacation and bring a fresh perspective to the table.

On August 17th, Frank Widermann from popular +LIVE favourites AME returns to take partygoers on an immersive and magical musical journey. The much loved German is a regular guest on the White Isle and always cooks up a perfect musical storm, so this year will be no different. Last, but by no means least – and coinciding with the Destino Ibiza Closing Party – deep and moody techno specialist Recondite is set to return with an array of machinery to create his sensual and absorbing sounds. Releasing on Acid Test and Innervisions, Life And Death and Ghostly, his sound is fully formed and sure to impress again in 2017.

The expertly curated line-up further cements Solomun’s reputation for creating parties that boast quality music, credible guests and a relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere. Set in the stylish surroundings of Destino Pacha Resort Ibiza, it would be positively criminal not to head down and get swept away in these premium beats.
