Together Ready For 2015 Opening

Tuesday June 9 sees the latest clubbing gladiator flex its muscles, lift the shutters and get its 2015 season in Ibiza up and running. Tuesday night in Amnesia is a little different from other opening parties, however, as it sees two clubbing giants collaborate to offer a spectacular weekly party. Together and Defected In The House bring considerable Ibiza experience to a Tuesday that sees the big bass sound maintain its dominance in the main room while Defected In The House gives the terrace a distinct house flavor. The announcement of the collaboration grabbed a lot of the pre-season headlines, until that is; they announced the season line up. It is one of the hottest collections of artists across multiple genres that has excited clubbers on and off the island and it all gets under way on Tuesday June 9 with Chase & Status, Sigma, Andy C and GotSome in the Main Room, while MK, Oliver Dollar, Noir, Franky Rizardo, Sonny Fedora, Sam Divine and Simon Dunmore fly the house flag on the Terrace.

Chase & Status enjoyed their summer residency so much in 2014 that they signed up for nine dates in 2015. Their ‘Rebel Sound’ live project has been a huge success and they are firm favourites already with the Anesia faithful, on the back of some unforgettable performances previously. Together have added a wealth of talent and experience to the 2015 season line up, with drum and bass protagonists Andy C, Sigma, Sub Focus and Wilkinson joining in the fun. OWSLA boss Skrillex makes his customary exclusive appearance and there are triumphant returns also for Example and DJ Wire, DJ EZ, Netsky and Pendulum. It wouldn’t be a Tuesday night in Amnesia if Together didn’t continue to challenge musical parameters, stretching the boundaries for a partisan crowd that welcomes a new sound. With that in mind there are also appearances from Amine Edge & Dance, Chris Lorenzo, Disciples, Jaguar Skills, Preditah & Toyboy & Robin and one of the hottest properties on the scene at the moment GotSome make eight appearances throughout the summer. As if that wasn’t enough to whet the appetite, and it is, add Shy FX, Mistajam and My Nu Leng and you have an indication of how seriously Together take their part of the collaboration this summer.

The terrace will be home to Defected in The House, a label, party brand and musical movement that has remained principled throughout its decade and a half love affair with Ibiza. The masters of international parties, they have filled venues on all four continents, discovered some of the greatest talent on the house scene and offered a platform for some of the seminal tracks of our time. Having enjoyed success wherever it has travelled in Ibiza, taking its unique house sound to some of the island’s other clubbing spaces, it was inevitable that it would end up in one of the worlds true clubbing theatres. Amnesia offers a spectacular space in which to enjoy great music, you only have to look at the other residencies to see that they are in good company. With access to many of the finest DJs and producers on the planet Defected In The House has assembled a powerful array of talent, that incudes MK, Gorgon City, Hannah Wants, Julio Bashmore, Groove Armada, Hot Since 82, Deetron, Pete Tong, Dennis Ferrer, MANDY, Kevin Saunderson, Guti, Juan Maclean, Shadow Child, Detroit Swindle, Oliver Dollar, Noir, Riva Starr, AndHim, Jesse Rose, DJ T, Eddie “Flashin’” Fowlkes, Disciples, Waze & Odyssey, Tube & Berger, Hector Couto, DJ SKT, Dantiez Saunderson, Sam Divine, Franky Rizardo, Sonny Fodera, Cristoph, Rae, Butler & Bontan, Luke Solomon, and Simon Dunmore. The fun kicks off on Tuesday June 9 and continues until September 22.
