It’s a popular part of the island, home to some world class lifestyle concepts, and it is to one of those, HEART Ibiza, that we are heading, for the opening of Wall Lopez’ Heart Beat residency.

A visit to HEART Ibiza is more than a night out, it’s an experience that engages all the senses. The huge LED walls that surround the main room offer an interactive distraction that complements the variety of international DJs that take over the booth. For those that prefer to enjoy a late night al fresco libation, the terrace offers a chilled out vibe with that spectacular view of Dalt Vila as a backdrop. The venue is already filling up as we land, easing through the front door and into the main room, where Wally Lopez has already taken charge of the floor.

As one of the pioneering Spanish DJ/ producers, Wally Lopez set the bar high for the current generation of producers that have blazed an international trail. He has been at the centre of many of the island’s cooler parties and continues to deliver a mesmerising musical journey whenever he takes over the booth. His Friday night residency in HEART Ibiza promises to be a strong addition to the weekly schedule of a venue that has become one of the island’s most important. Driving beats, mobile basslines and melodic loops forge the foundations for Wally Lopez as he forges a bond between himself and the packed dancefloor.

It is another big opening party for HEART Ibiza as the latest weekly concept introduces itself to a capacity crowd. Island favourite Cesar Del Rio and Induction Muzic boss Isaac Indart, who made the short trip from Mallorca especially for the opening made a significant contribution to the success of the evening but it was Wally Lopez, famous coloured glasses on, that was the main attraction. There was even a giant pair of glasses on the bar to remind everyone who was hosting the Heart Beat residency. Wally Lopez will return weekly on Friday night, with a selection of talented spinner confirmed to join him as HEART Ibiza reveals yet another fantastic reason to drop into the marina.
