Life couldn’t get much better for Ocean Beach Ibiza, the popular pool party concept that made an instant impact and has swept all aside ever since opens for business on April 29 with a free entry soft opening. It gives islanders the chance to enjoy the lavish facilities surrounding the massive pool as resident DJs deliver a cool soundtrack to your day before the army of tourists descend on the island for the summer.

Ocean Beach Ibiza Poolside Sessions kick off on Sunday May 1 before the first Sin Sunday of the season on Sunday May 15. The Liverpool based concept has been an integral part of the weekly line up in recent years, offering a truly sinful selection of hedonistic house and one of the most glamorous of the week. Friday May 20 is the date that Ocean Beach Ibiza fans are looking forward to most, however, the official opening party for the summer. If previous seasons have taught us anything, it is that this one will be a capacity turn out, like most of the summer events. It’s important to get your tickets early for this one to avoid disappointment. Think lavish production, world class DJ line up and some of the most amazing performances high above the inviting pool as Ocean Beach Ibiza sets the bar for the season.

After the opening, there’s no time to catch your breath as the parties come thick and fast. Saturday May 21 sees Superfoxx bring its unique party vibe from the slopes of Verbier and the Film Festival of Cannes to the lagoon-like pool of Ocean Beach Ibiza. Pool Party, the in-house Friday residency has been hugely popular in previous years and it gets 2016 underway on Friday May 27, with residents Grant Collins, Sam Dungate and Tom Crane delivering an uplifting soundtrack every Friday. If the constant heat of the Ibiza summer gets too much for you, check out the five Ibiza Spray parties on selected Sundays across the season, the first of which takes place on May 29, where it rains pink and white champagne rain. Finally, May ends on a high as Hed Kandi resumes its popular Monday residency around the pool, bringing a wealth of day time party experience, a cool soundtrack and some delicious production to the stunning location.

The next opening to look out for sees the return of Ministry Of Sounds VIP party on Thursday June 2. The world famous brand brings the glamour and sophistication of its No1 selling compilation to Thursday with resident DJ Spoony joined by a selection of talented guests delivering the best RnB, hip-hop and house. Saturday June 4 sees yet another high profile resident return, this time Soul Heaven opens its summer session with more of the best soulful house from genuine legends of the scene. Tuesday June 7 sees the heavyweight collaborations continue as Kiss FM presents Kisstory, the best in old school anthems with your favourite Kiss FM DJs. June is a big month for Ocean Beach Ibiza as it celebrates its fourth birthday on Friday 24.Special guests have still to be announced but residents Tom Crane, Giuliano A.L. and Grant Collins will offer a vibrant soundtrack, fitting for this special occasion. The venue opens at midday, with the music kicking off at 13.00.

There are a selection of great parties on Sunday in Ocean Beach Ibiza, with some of the UKs best promoters bringing their own flavor to the pool party. The list is long and distinguished with The Boat Club, Tup Tup, Geek & Eivissa, Colours, Kinky Malinki and Aces all adding their weight to the summer schedule. July 17 sees legendary party Tru’s Do’s return to the pool, collaborating with Dirty Promotions to offer another crazy themed party. Details of the line up are still under wraps, watch this space for more details. The summer comes to a climax on Friday September 30, with another spectacular final fiesta planned. It’s an exciting summer line up, packed with some new parties alongside some high profile favourites, and ensures yet another fantastic summer for the beach club. While there are countless parties to look forward to and enjoy, Ocean Beach Ibiza is not just about the music, the kitchen also plays a prominent part on the summer, offering a delicious menu and one of the best burgers on the island.
