When holidaying in Ibiza, it’s easy to feel like you are on Cloud Nine. And 2016 is set to take you even closer to heaven with the arrival of a luxury new resort aiming to exceed the expectations of even those with sky-high standards.

Located in the South West of the island sprawled across the cliffs above Cala Conta, 7Pines Resort Ibiza overlooks the majestic Es Vedra and invites guests to ‘escape to paradise’ to find bliss in the subtle elegance and effortless luxury of its holiday homes and guest rooms. Developed by Linder Investment Management GmbH [LIM], the resort expands over an impressive 56,000 square meters of lush gardens and boasts a selection of three villas, 42 suites and 160 apartments that can accommodate up to 500 guests at a time.

Ibiza is famous for its stunning countryside and breathtaking ocean vistas, so renowned Madrid-based architect’s office Arditecnica didn’t miss a trick when designing the complex to embrace the island’s natural terrain instead of working around it. Taking pride of place is an incredible 733 square meters Infinity Pool, complete with an integrated ‘sunken’ bar and mind-blowing views as the water blends into the Mediterranean waves seemingly without a visible edge. Could you ask for a more perfect spot to watch the sun go down with a cocktail in hand? Probably not, unless you decide to watch the stars from 7Pines’ very own planetarium!

Foodies won’t be left wanting for anything either, as 7Pines’ in-house restaurant serves up Balearic specialties as well as traditional Spanish dishes with a modern twist. Need to burn off all those calories? Guests who want to get active beyond dancing the night away in one of the island’s many super clubs can enjoy cliff top yoga, cycling tours, tennis, diving classes and other water sports as well as workout sessions with a renowned personal trainer. Thrillseekers will enjoy a day on the resort’s private yacht, while creative types can book themselves in for underwater photography classes.

If it’s pure relaxation you’re after, the resort’s spa will leave you spoilt for choice. As well as the standard steam room and saunas, 7Pines has a rainforest room, ice grotto and floating wellness beds. The biggest hardship you’ll encounter will be to choose from the spa menu, which offers massages as well as Ayurveda and detox treatments. Meanwhile, the resort’s gardens abound with local plants such as fragrant pine trees, junipers, palm trees, cacti and rhododendron bushes, creating an air of unspoiled nature. Making the most of this Mediterranean Garden of Eden, some of the holiday properties feature private plunge pools and extensive terraces surrounded by flowerbeds and lawn.

Inside the luxury abodes, the interior design pays tribute to the White Isle’s colours with rich furnishings, light wooden accents and natural stone panels and flooring. Ceramic tiles in shimmering gold and marble add a touch of luxury in the bathrooms, with traditional Ibizan furniture – some of which has been handcrafted exclusively for 7Pines – completing the first class ‘homes away from home’. Speaking of which, should you be interested in owning your very own piece of paradise, it’s time to listen up and act fast! All of 7Pines Resort Ibiza’s apartments and suites can be purchased as capital assets, with prices starting at 360,000 Euros. Owners then rent their property back to LIM to be integrated into the hotel business, receiving rent from the company without having to worry about maintenance or filling their space with guests throughout the summer season.

Between May and October buyers can choose two weeks to stay at the resort, as well as having exclusive usage rights of their holiday home throughout the winter season. And with the airport only a short 15-minute drive away, it’ll be all too tempting to hop on a plane and head out to the island time and time again! If this sounds like an attractive investment option, you’re not alone in thinking so! 100 interested guests attended the luxury resort’s open day on October 24, with some objects already sold. Kai Richter, managing partner of LIM, says, “The privacy of our guests is important to us, so we cannot provide the names of the buyers, but let us say this: guests of the 7Pines Resort Ibiza will spot the one or the other celebrity in the grounds.”

7Pines Resort Ibiza is set to open in June 2016. For more information head to www.7pines-ibiza.com.
