HÏ IBIZA Announces Huge Opening Line Up Posted on February 28, 2017 Words: Iain Thomson share this tweet this The HÏ IBIZA announcements have been coming thick and fast, with the opening party date preceding the first couple of residents, making sure that the new club, on the location previously occupied by Space, captured the attention of clubbers worldwide. As it continues to ramp up towards the Ibiza 2017 season, HÏ IBIZA has now revealed the protagonists behind the Sunday May 28 opener and it’s big! The marketing of the new venue has been inspired so far, videos have incorporated well known Ibiza faces and caught the attention across social media platforms but the time for the clever campaigns is almost over and nothing says we are ready for launch than a talent packed opening line up and that’s exactly what HÏ IBIZA has assembled. Black Coffee, the club’s first resident announcement who will look after Saturday nights, Luciano and Apollonia, both massive Ibiza favourites, headline the party with a fantastic supporting cast that includes, in alphabetical order, Andrea Oliva B2B Davide Squillace, Bas Ibellini, Djebali, Joris Voorn, Kölsch (DJ Set), Matthias Tanzmann and Nic Fanciulli. Having picked up the Best Deep House DJ award at the latest DJ Awards, Black Coffee embarks on his debut Ibiza residency, on the back of some headline grabbing performances at the island’s best underground parties. Saturday night will see the South African pioneer deliver a weekly deep house vibe, joined by some of the hottest talent from around the world but not before he introduces himself first as part of an exciting opening. Luciano is a darling of the island’s underground scene, he has a huge following on the island and never fails to smash whichever floor he finds himself overseeing and he has been a part of the Ushuaia story from the time it was a small beach party further down Playa d’en Bossa. It’s fitting he is playing at the start of the latest part of its journey. With a mission statement that declares an intention to unite the highest standards of music and entertainment and bring world class music experiences to a club designed with the dancer in mind, HÏ IBIZA has shown clear intent with its first big line-up. Apollonia, the back to back to back exploits of French trio Shonky, Dan Ghenacia and Dyed Soundorom, plays an extended set for the opening, bringing a wealth of Ibiza talent with them, not to mention a huge on-island following. Wherever you look on the opening line-up, there are headliners waiting to take you on an unforgettable musical journey; from Andrea Oliva and Davide Squillace, who go B2B and who are both more than capable of rocking the floor, to the smooth and edgy sound of Saved Records boss Nic Fanciulli. It’s a truly international group that has extensive experience playing the world’s finest clubs and promises to get the brand new venue off to a flyer. CLICK HERE TO BUY TICKETS share this tweet this
