Glitterbox, the wildly popular eclectic disco night, will return to the White Isle for a fourth year. The chic house revival night has been gaining popularity year on year, and this summer will see the event take over Friday nights in sleek new superclub, Hï Ibiza.

Campy, kitschy entertainment will meet feel-good house and disco in the Friday night residency, which has become a firm Ibiza favourite over the past few years. Much-loved by regular frequenters to the island, Glitterbox offers something a little different to a standard Ibiza dance party, and nods to the growing eclecticism of people that choose to party in the clubbing capital. Where in years gone by, Ibiza had a certain aesthetic, sound and vibe, more and more we’re seeing that there’s something for every taste on the White Isle.

Glitterbox founder Simon Dunmore is bringing back many of the same DJs that ensured the success of Glitterbox in 2016, plus some new additions to be inducted into the lineup that are nontheless firm Ibiza favourites. Confirmed acts include Basement Jaxx, Dimitri from Paris, Armand Van Helden, David Morales, Masters at Work, Kenny Dope, Louie Vega, Todd Terry, DJ Pippi, Joey Negro and Roger Sanchez, plus a set from Simon Dunmore himself. The sassy, funky lineup has stood Glitterbox in good stead in past years and has earmarked it as a truly unique party on the While Isle – and as the old saying goes, if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it!

Glitterbox opens this Friday, June 9th, and will run every Friday until the closing party on September 22nd. The setlist this week will see Dimitri From Paris, Armand Van Helden, David Morales, Todd Terry and Simon Dunmore take to the booth, whilst the second room will be occupied by DJ Pippi, Barbara Tucker (live PA) and Shovell live on percussion. Hï Ibiza, the state of the art superclub and latest offering from Ushuaïa Entertainment, may only have been open a matter of weeks, but it has already seen keen partygoers turn out in their droves. Thanks to the revered reputation that Ushuaïa has garnered (in a relatively short time in Ibiza terms), visitors evidently know they’re in for a brilliant night as soon as they step through the doors. And as an occupier of this new, exciting space, fun-filled dance party Glitterbox looks set to be a smash hit throughout the season.
