Fun Dining With A Spanish Soul At TATEL Ibiza

With an ever-growing culinary scene putting Ibiza on the map not only as the clubbing mecca of the world, but also as a veritable gourmet destination, the island boasts a huge variety of international fine dining options. From five-star Asian eateries to haute cuisine Italian fare, the choices are plentiful on The White Isle. This year, Ibiza is gaining a new gem for its foodie crown that is set to represent Spain’s rich culinary culture, featuring authentic dishes executed with the highest quality standards and plenty of flair.

Moving into the glamorous surroundings of the Hard Rock Hotel in Playa d’en Bossa, TATEL Ibiza is set to become the talk of the town with its motto ‘Not just fine dining, fun dining’. The international Spanish restaurant concept was created by business partners Abel Matutes Prats and Manuel Campos Guallar, owners of private investment firm MABEL CAPITAL group, who joined forces with several Spanish icons such as tennis legend Rafael Nadal, international music star Enrique Iglesias and two-time NBA champion Paul Gasol on this project.

The TATEL brand represents the quintessence of the vibrant atmosphere that marks the traditional Spanish dining experience, creating a space where different generations and cultures can come together over their love of good food, toast the night with expertly mixed cocktails in the lively lounge bar and share plates of high quality Spanish food. Celebrating Ibiza’s unique relationship with music, a central stage showcases live acts throughout the night.
Inspired by the Roaring Twenties, the interior design is focused on the glamour of the Art Deco period, with a special focus on the right lighting and the little details that make a space extra special. Meanwhile, its home within the Hard Rock Hotel on the front line of Bossa beach guarantees that TATEL will boast stunning sea views over the Mediterranean.

The menu is mouthwatering to say the least, featuring treats such as Cured 100% Ibérico ham “Alta Expresión” D.O. Pedroches,
Salmorejo Cordobés – cold tomato soup with Ibérico ham and egg – Fresh Milk Croquettes with Ibérico ham, Crispy Eggplant with Honey, Avocado with Carabineros al Ajillo and Grilled Octopus with Potato and Mojo Rojo for starters. Rice and Pasta dishes come with fresh lobster or “Alicantino style” with shrimp, while specialties from the sea include Bluefin Tuna Tartar, Oven-baked Black Cod with Miso Sauce or Squid with Caramelised Onions. Meanwhile, meat lovers will swoon over Lamb Chops from Castilla, Wagyu Rib-Eye or Veal Milanese TATEL with Egg and Truffle. And if there is room left, guests will be able to finish their meal with desserts like Brie Cheese Flan, Yogurt from Sierra de Madrid with Strawberries or Creamy Hazelnut Coulant with Fresh Milk Ice Cream.
