Flower Power is the longest running Ibiza residency, with over four decades of parties in Pacha Ibiza. The colourful homage to decades long past has a huge international following, which is more than happy to dress up, to embrace its hippie roots and to create one of the liveliest party atmosphere’s. Ibiza 2017 has seen yet another wave of tourists join locals in celebration every Monday, but on October 2, it all comes to a close, with residents of Ibiza being invited to enter for free up until 2am, by showing their NIE.

With four decades under its belt, Flower Power could be forgiven for thinking about taking things easy but nothing could be further from reality. In collaboration with Made In Italy Ibiza, the party continues to go from strength to strength, engaging a new generation each year and maintaining its love affair with its existing followers on the back of some spectacular Monday night gatherings. The denim waistcoats, the rose-coloured glasses, the flowers in the hair and the free spirit that embodies the Flower Power party has been present since it made its Ibiza debut. The dedication to delivering the finest hits of decade long passed is also another foundation for the successful party.

Catching Mivk Jagger or Tina Turner live on stage, well performers that look and sound like then anyway, is nothing unusual for Monday night in Pacha, neither is a drive through by the famous Harley Davidson in the middle of the party. This is not a party where a huge headliner is joined by a plethora of talented artists from around the world, it’s one where the attitude, the music and the feeling does all the talking. Ibiza 2017 saw Flower Power venture back to Cap Martinet and the elegant outdoor facilities of Destino Pacha resort and the launch of the Flower Power Beat Experience festival, which turned out to be another fantastic experience and one that embodied the principles that have made this one of the most consistent of the Ibiza parties.
