Cocoon’s Thursday night pilgrimage to Tippic Formentera comes to a close on September 14 as Sven Väth and Maurizio Schmitz take the ferry for the last time this summer to deliver a fitting send off for the intimate weekly gathering. The Thursday night party offers clubbers in the region a second chance every week to savour the unique vibe that the Cocoon community brings when it comes to town and what better way to give the popular party a send-off than with Papa Sven at the helm.

Maurizio Schmitz is no stranger to Formentera’s only club, having played under the Cocoon banner with and without Sven previously. Having already tore up the famous floor earlier this summer, his inclusion in the closing party schedule makes for an exciting proposition. Last summer saw a happy accident in the scheduling and Sven played the final party, and such was the response that it was pencilled in immediately for this summer. Once again it has come around too fast, after a series of fantastic collaborations that witnessed many of the Cocoon family in the Tipic booth, it’s time for that final farewell. There couldn’t be a better time to jump on the ferry and head to our sister island.
