Cashless Fiesta Primavera launches Atzaró Fundraising Posted on February 23, 2017 Words: Iain Thomson share this tweet this Atzaró Agroturismo has announced details of its Fiesta Primavera 2017, taking place on Sunday March 26 and it marks a milestone for the much-loved party, with a series of new initiatives being introduced. Fiesta Primavera 2017 will mark Ibiza’s first ever cashless event and also sees the launch of Atzaró Fundraising, a non-profit charitable association dedicated to the pursuit of the welfare of those who need it most. The fiesta will include all of your favourite activities but will offer the chance to party conscientiously, raising much needed funds for worthy causes as you do so. It’s the event that is widely considered the start of the summer on the island and, in recent years, has seen thousands descend on the stunning country escape for a day and night of celebration, showcasing the creative talent on the island with a bohemian market, workshops, art exhibitions, live music and DJ sets as well as numerous performances and a kids area for the little ones. It’s also a place to meet friends and enjoy some delicious food and drink, either from the street market or the buffet restaurant, in the amazing surroundings that is Atzaró Agroturismo. In its own words; “Atzaró Fundraising was born as a non-profit charitable association to put our grain of sand in the pursuit of the welfare of all those who need it, reaching agreements with the different local NGOs through which we will disseminate our support.” Atzaró Fundraising will concentrate its activities in two areas, firstly, directly with the people and secondly with the environment, beginning its journey on March 26 at Fiesta Primavera. For its first collaboration, Atzaró Fundraising works alongside the Sociosanitary Platform of the Pitiusas, Juntos, Caritas and Las Trinitarias of Santa Eularia, all of them conveyed to projects with people who need it on the island. It’s a worthy cause and one that is counting on your donations. Always looking to improve its service and to embrace new technology, Atzaró has decided to make the Fiesta Primavera the first cashless event on the island, via RFID wristbands, which will be the only currency accepted at all of the vendor locations at the festival, although you will still be able to pay the old fashioned way at the restaurant and art crafts. Paying for your food and drinks through the RFID wristband couldn’t be easier, once you have topped up your account, you just double tap to pay, leaving you free to spend your time enjoying the party! The amount is automatically deducted from your total and when you run out of credit, it’s easy to top up, either at stations situated throughout the grounds for your convenience or online through the cashless website, which is coming soon. Atzaró is dedicated to making a positive impact on its world, while making sure your experience is as good and easy as it can be. It has also countered the parking problem of recent years by offering a free bus transport service from various points across the island, more details on where to catch that to follow shortly. Fiesta Primavera 2017 is not just the start of another summer season on the island, it’s a chance to contribute at the very beginning of the Atzaró Fundraising journey as well as witness the start of the cashless evolution!
