Cafe Mambo Announces 2017 Opening Date

You know the summer is just around the corner when your favourite venues start rolling up the shutters, and the next to do so is Café Mambo, which will open on Friday May 12 from 6pm. The famous Ibiza destination welcomes the new season and another series of spiritual, end-of-day sunset rituals followed by the hottest talent on the international scene in the famous booth overlooking the sunset strip in San Antonio.

Café Mambo has been responsible for some of those much talked about Ibiza moments during its tenure on the island, from Jamie Cullum singing ‘You’ve Got The Love’ at Sunset to live performances from Brand New Heavies with Carl Cox playing keyboard and, more recently, Duke Dumont for BBC Radio 1. Last summer saw Fatboy Slim takeover the booth as well as countless amazing pre-clubs parties from some of the world’s biggest brands. That will continue again through 2017 as Mambo maintains its relationship with many of the island’s most popular events.

The waterfront bar/ restaurant is not just about the pre-club parties however. The venue is open all day and ideal for an early coffee and breakfast or a long lunch on the terrace, soaking up its breathtaking view. For sunset, we advise to get down early, book your table on the promenade and enjoy dinner as day eases into night.
