The Chef Experience With Carles Tejedor Posted on July 3, 2017 Words: Olivia Ebeling share this tweet this This Thursday, July 6th, ME Ibiza’s new culinary concept The Chef Experience – in collaboration with Ibiza Style – will be taking over the hotel’s stunning rooftop dining space once more with an exceptional menu by star chef Carles Tejedor. The kitchen talent is not only the chef at El Nacional restaurant and Lomo Alto / Lomo Bajo restaurant in Barcelona, but also a world-renowned olive oil expert and the owner of Oilmotion – meaning diners are in for a fascinating evening based around a unique gourmet experience. As well as being a professor at American elite university Harvard, Tejedor is a lecturer at many other universities, giving foodies the chance to learn while they eat. On the menu, diners will find such treats as oysters à la gin tonic, a Tartuna roll, Ramen salad with tomatoes, spider crab and sea fennel, Ibicencan Bullit de Peix (fish stew) spare ribs of pork prepared on the Josper oven, chocolate and AOVE olive oil ice cream with Flor de Sal from Ibiza.
