The panel of experts has made its decision, highlighting a group of creative talent that they believe can be the next generation of Ibiza stars. Emerging artists such as Andre Torquato, Andy Baxter, Los Suruba, Marino Canal and Manu Gonzalez, to name only a few. Many of the artists are currently making an impression on the island and its regulars, occupying warm up slots and residencies in many of the island’s favourite bars, beach clubs and venues, the forthcoming festival hopes to put them on a much wider radar and see them go on to fulfill their potential. The Venues that have opted into the debut Emerging Ibiza Breath-Thru festival include some of the island’s most famous, from Space, often voted world’s best club to Ushuaia, the huge open air arena overlooking Playa d’en Bossa, to Gala Night, home of the Zoo Project, and beach venues such as Sands and Santos, both occupying prime locations on the island’s biggest stretch of sand. Sankeys Ibiza has become an underground haven in recent years and offers a partisan vibe for the DJs that get to perform there, Ushuaia Tower provides a unique space for one of the parties and the Ibiza Boat Festival will take some of the lucky winners on to the Mediterranean for a floating carnival.
