Posted on May 6, 2014

The Zoo Project has joined forces with Alianza Mar Blava for a special event Dui No! Saturday May 10 Gala Night, Benimussa Park from 16.30 until midnight, minimum donations five euros on the door. The collaboration sees world famous Ibiza party Zoo Project join forces with the alliance against exploration and extraction of hydrocarbons off the coasts of Ibiza and Formentera for a one off party to raise the profile of this fight that so many islanders have taken to their hearts. Locals and tourists join together to show support for the campaign and with many of the island’s top DJs dropping in to play, it promises to be another outstanding Ibiza party, with a worthwhile cause. Minimum donations on the door of five euros will be collected on the door on the day with the proceeds being donated to Allianza Mar Blava in support of the campaign.

A statement on the Alianza Mar Blava website reads: ‘The aim is to preserve the environmental wealth that makes the Balearic Islands such a unique place and to ensure its citizens continued employment and welfare. Future generations also deserve the right to inherit an environment preserved in good condition.’
The Zoo Project say: ‘Let’s get together and dance in solidarity against all oil exploration off the coasts of Ibiza and Formentera, raising some money for a good cause while we’re at it! Our futures depend on the environmental well being of these islands. Ibiza family, world family, let’s get together!’
