Movement DC10 Takeover

DC10 has announced a series of Saturday night showcases for the summer season, involving Italian clubbing giants Movement. Movement Torino has a reputation for delivering underground parties and festivals throughout the clubbing world, bringing the celebrated brand to the Bastian of underground music on the island is reason to celebrate for all clubbers that just can’t get enough of the famous atmosphere inside the iconic club. Adding Saturday to the already precious Monday and Wednesday parties is great news for anyone that enjoys great music drenched in an electric atmosphere surrounded by some of the most passionate clubbers on the planet.

DC-10 Opens 2013

August 2 sees the takeover series get underway with Better Lost Than Stupid, aka Martin Buttrich, Davide Squillace and Matthias Tanzmann, a storming launch party full of cutting edge talent. The following week there is no let u on the international talent as Dixon returns to DC10 after a recent triumphant performance for Circo Loco bringing his exclusive Lost In A Moment concept, featuring a live performance from Ame as well as a DJ set and sets from himself and Gerd Janson. On August 16 it is the turn of Apollonia, no strangers to the DC10 takeover concept, having successfully managed the very same thing last summer. Dan Ghenacia, Dyed Soundorom and Shonky are regular DC10 performers; given license to do their thing all night, usually ends up in some musical magic. Saturday August 23 sees Art Department’s Social Experiment take control of the celebrated venue with label regulars Eric Volta, Louie Fresco and Nitin also joined by Objektivity label boss Dennis Ferrer. The finale showcase is Saturday Aug 30 bringing the month and the Movement series to an end with Derrick May’s Hi Tek Soul concept, featuring Joe Clausell amd Lollino as guests. It’s a month that offers some of the finest spinners on the planet the opportunity to bring their sound and ideas to one of the world’s finest underground spaces. DC10 gave up a series of Saturday night’s in 2013 and the result was phenomenal, Movement promises to deliver much more of the same for 2014.
